Volunteers

The Shelter Animal Medicine clerkship relies on volunteers to help keep our surgery clinic operating as efficiently as possible. Volunteer positions are ideal for pre-veterinary students or anyone seeking to gain more experience in the busy veterinary surgical clinic environment. Typical volunteer tasks include: cleaning cages, doing laundry, washing instruments, and wrapping surgery packs. Our most reliable and hard-working volunteers are often hired as staff members when positions become available.
